What motivates us to move the Overton Window?

Before meeting Sameer and Katie, I had already been dreaming of a world in which it is mainstream for people to live from their well-balanced Anahata Chakras. That would be my primary reason to want to move the Overton Window.

What are the other herd members' motivations to want to move the Overton Window? My thoughts go back to a speech, in which it was said that to convince others to one's ideas, one has to start with being very clear themselves about WHY they do what they do.

That is a really good point. My reason for wanting to move the Overton Window re: Notes and Spiritual Awakening is because these experiences point to the Oneness of existence and interconnectivity. Humans have created the current crises because of the illusion of separateness.......if more people can experience the Oneness or at least have an intellectual understanding of it, then there is more hope that humans can solve the problems that we have created. There is also the reason that people experiencing notes will have validation and have more understanding and better support if the have a spiritual emergency.

[SIDENOTE] I just spent an hour on writing about a real life application of the above ideas. Then I scrolled a bit, and when I scrolled back, my entire text was gone! Perhaps a technical bug to be reported to the IT crew?

Human history is full of people who were marginalized because of their out-there ideas, but became understood and highly respected years later. "What? The earth is sphere-shaped, you say? But we'd slide and fall off! Don't be such a fool." How many potential Galileos and Socrateses made it to become paragons of progress, and how many didn't, I wonder?

On the one hand, people say they want progress, on the other hand, people resist new ideas. That has boggled me for years now.

To expand the Overton Window, I'd:

consider connecting widely accepted experiences that are similar to NOTEs, for example: observing loved ones after their passing away, synchronicities like receiving a phone call from someone you just thought of calling, proverbs like "having a knot in the stomach" or "a lump in the throat" or "having an open heart" point to energetic sensations
mention tests that people can do themselves, like hovering a pendulum above any of their chakras
be critical for the fact that a lot of people tend to be more lenient in scientifically testing phenomena that fit the materialistic paradigm, versus how biased interpretations are around scientific tests of phenomena that do not fit the materialistic paradigm.
